Robert Connors
About Robert Connors
I joined Century 21 Edwards Realty Limited MREINZ in 2005 after an extensive
career in Banking where I held senior management positions with both Bank of New
Zealand and Westpac. I have expertise in retail, business & commercial banking,
residential and commercial mortgages and strategic planning & business
management. With this background I have knowledge of most aspects of the New
Zealand economy.
I am a Fellow of the Finance & Securities Institute of Australasia and a Member of the
New Zealand Institute of Management. My career has always been about helping my
clients to achieve their goals through carefully listening to their needs, ensuring I
have understood these and then researching and presenting appropriate solutions for
them. Selling or buying your home requires the same careful approach, after all you
are entrusting me with your most valuable asset.
To ensure that I retain the necessary skills and focus to provide excellence of service,
I regularly undertake ongoing professional development courses, attending seminars,
conferences and meetings to glean expertise and knowledge from others in the
industry. In 2015 I completed the National Diploma in Real Estate (Agent), to ensure I
remain totally aware of all the regulatory and practice changes affecting our clients
and us. This means that I am a Licensed Real Estate Agent under the Real Estate
Agents Act 2008,
I have completed the Century 21 advanced real estate sales course, and am a
member of the Edwards Realty Limited Multi-Million Dollar Club. Over the years I have
completed numerous sales and management courses, all of which continue to help
me on a daily basis.
Outside Real Estate I provide business consultancy and mentoring services and I am
a qualified Ballroom and Latin American dance coach, an examiner, an international
adjudicator and trustee of the New Zealand Ballroom Dance Council. I have been an
active member of many local organisations and continue to provide voluntary
services to community organisations.
